Terms Of Service

By accessing the website https://cunursing.com, including CUN’s Student Information and Study Center, to which the website offers access, as well as a number of communication channels, like e-mail and online chat, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service, all applicable laws and regulations. You agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable laws and regulations, where your use of the website, Student Information and Study Center and means of communication are concerned. If you do not agree with any of the following terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site, its features and access to CUN’s Student Information and Study Center. The materials contained in this website may be protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

1. Use License

Permission is granted to download one copy of the materials (certain documents and information), offered on CUN’s website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing and evaluation only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title and under this license you may

  • not use the materials for any commercial purpose, nor for any public display (commercial or non-commercial),

The information, materials and features offered on CUN’s website may include typographical, photographic or other types of (‘technical’) errors and may not always be fully visible on all devices. CUN may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without prior notice. However CUN does not make any commitment to updating the materials on any specific date, time or moment. Due to technical problems or maintenance, access to CUN’s Student Information and Study Center and/or features offered on CUN’s website, may be temporarily disabled or out of service. CUN does not make any commitment to restoring access to the Student Information and Study Center and/or restoring the use of features, offered on its website, on any specific date, time or moment. Disabled access to CUN’s Student Information and Study Center will under no circumstances hinder the continuity of education, for enrolled students. Application and registration can always be handled ‘on paper’.

5. Modifications

CUN may revise these Terms of Service for its website at any time without prior notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms of Service.

6. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Curacao and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that country.

It is CUN’s policy to respect your privacy, regarding any information we may collect while operating our website. Accordingly, we have developed this Privacy Policy, in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate, disclose and otherwise make use of personal information. We have outlined our Privacy Policy below.

  • We will collect personal information by lawful and fair means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned. This information may include the browser, operating system and device you are using, during a site-visit, as well as an ‘electronic time-stamp’ of each visit (used to ensure or enhance accessibility of our website, by all browsers, operating systems and devices). During a site-visit ‘cookies’ may be placed in your browser (small text-files or codes, used for  activating and using certain features in our website and Student Information and Study Center or to let features offered on our website ‘recognize’ you during following visits). These ‘cookies’ are in no way harmful for your device, operating system or other hardware or software, used with or on your device. ‘Cookies’, placed in your browser, can be deleted by you at any moment.

  • We will collect and store personal information, entered in our Student Information and Study Center, the moment you make use of our student self-registration system, as well as voluntarily uploaded personal documents, used for evaluating eligibility for enrolling in a desired CUN program or as part of completing a program you are enrolled in, as a student. Personal data may include payment details. You may request removal of your personal information, from our systems and archives, at any time. Requests for removal of personal information is always granted for information that is not accurate or relevant, except in case this personal information has any kind of lawful importance or consequence or in case this information has any kind of importance for being a student at CUN or having been a student at CUN or for becoming a CUN student or for being able to complete a CUN program.

  • We will collect and store personal information, voluntarily made available to us by you, used for any kind of  correspondence, between you and CUN or any other relevant person or party, including regular mail, e-mail, online chat, telephone-call and video-call. You may request removal of your personal information, from our systems and archives, at any time. Requests for removal of personal information is always granted, except in case this personal information has any kind of lawful importance or consequence or in case this information has any kind of importance for being a student at CUN or having been a student at CUN or for becoming a CUN student or for being able to complete a CUN program.

  • Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected. We will collect and use personal information solely for fulfilling those purposes specified by us and for other ancillary purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned to use information otherwise or as required by law.

  • Personal data should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete and up-to-date.

  • We will protect personal information by using reasonable (physical and electronic) security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

  • No personal information will, in any way, be made available to any other party or person, except in case this is required by law. School administrators, faculty and other authorized CUN staff or representatives may be granted access to voluntarily submitted personal information, solely for predefined purposes, relevant for their CUN duties and responsibilities.

  • We will make readily available to website-visitors, users of our Student Information and Study Center and others, information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information.

  • We will only retain personal information for as long as necessary and for the fulfillment of its identified and recognized purposes.

We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles, in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained. CUN may change this Privacy Policy from time to time at CUN’s sole discretion.
