Tuition and Fees 2023/2024

All amounts are in United States Dollars ($). Local exchange rates will not be taken into account.

Tuition

Tuition per course is calculated at a rate per US credit to be earned. The same rates apply to online off-premises and on-premises courses.

Rates per credit are determined on a yearly basis, not withstanding unforeseen circumstances. The rates given on our website are to be considered current.

Workshops

Fees for participating in non-credited workshops (workshops that are not part of a regular CUN course), organized by CUN, are calculated at an hourly fee of $15.00, with a minimum total fee of $45.00. Students will receive a formal Certificate of Participation or a formal Certificate of Achievement, depending on scope and goal of the workshop. Some workshops may be mandatory. Workshops that are part of regular CUN courses, are free of additional charge.

Guest Lectures and Field Trips

Guest Lectures and Field Trips, organized by CUN, are free of charge.

Third party activities

Fees for participating in third party activities are determined by the concerning third parties. Students may be awarded credits or a formal Certificate of Participation or a formal Certificate of Achievement.

Tuition, workshop fees and fees for third party activities do not include any administrative fees or any special allowances!


Tuition and Fees Developing Countries*

*Countries are considered ‘developing economies’, based on criteria used by the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

Tuition: $225.00 per US credit.

Average full-time study-load is 15 credits per academic semester, totaling an average full-time tuition of $3,375.00 per semester.

Administrative Fees:

Application Fee (one-time fee, non-refundable) $100.-
Seat Deposit (upon admission) $500.-
Uniform (5 polo-shirts, 3 pairs of scrubs, 3 lab-coats) and basic Nurse Kit $250.-
Immigration Processing Fee (average, non-refundable, government entrance fee) $400.-
Total administrative fees, first year $1,250.-

Refundable government deposits will apply, upon immigration. Average yearly immigration renewal fee is $400.00.

Fines and special allowances:

Re-admission Fee (after withdrawal or academic dismissal) $100.-
Approved Leave Fee (per semester re-enrollment, upon request) $100.-
Unapproved Leave Fee (“no-show fee”, per semester re-enrollment) $250.-
Graduation Fee (one-time fee, upon Graduation Request) $350.-

Tuition: $300.00 per US credit.

Average full-time study-load is 15 credits per semester, totaling an average full-time tuition of $4,500.00 per academic semester.

Administrative Fees:

Application Fee (one-time fee, non-refundable) $100.-
Seat Deposit (upon admission) $500.-
Uniform (5 polo-shirts, 3 pairs of scrubs, 3 lab-coats) and basic Nurse Kit $250.-

Estimated Expenses

Approximate expenses for equipment, textbooks, e-resources and other materials

$2,500.- per academic year (average).

Approximate fee for clinical rotations

$5,000.- per academic semester (USA hospital fee, including coordination by CUN).

At the time of publication of this document, (approximate) fees for clinical rotations in other countries were still under negotiation.

Average Cost of Student-housing (Curacao)

$350.- to $650.- per month.

Depending on location, living space, available facilities and shared or private accommodations.

Average Cost of Living (Curacao – cost of housing not included)

$500.- $750.-per month (depending on desired lifestyle!).
